Transmission noise in E4OD
Hey all I have a 1998 F-150 with the 5.4 and lately I've been experiencing an odd noise coming from the transmission.
Little rundown, going from 1st to 2nd is great, nice and smooth no delay. Going from 3rd to 4th is the same, but for some reason going from 2nd to 3rd takes slightly longer and I hear a squawk/low tone squeak when shifting. I have a video attached so you can hear it for yourselves. Hopefully someone here can help me with this.
The truck has been fantastic for a long time now, zero complaints but I'm just weirded out by the noise and what it could possibly be.
