Default Reseal rear sliding window

Has anyone done this and how long did it take? Was it hard or just time consuming?
Thanks

Did mine a year and a half ago, it's not that bad. Just make sure you clean the surfaces well and take your time.

Did it a year ago or so and it's nice to have another set of hands!

Not a bad job but yes, you would really benefit from an extra pair of hands.
Read through both pages of this thread for some insight:

Are you doing the entire rear window or just trying to fix the slider part?

If the entire window, not really a big deal, just get the 3M Window weld to do it with. Around $20 for a roll of it. Took me about 2 hours from start to finish doing it by myself. With a slider rear window you can do it by yourself easily.

If your just talking about just the slider part itself, every attempt I have read ends up in failure and they still leak unless you just completely seal the window so it no longer slides.

I'm doing the full window. The slider portion seems to seal real good. I was only able to find 1 video on it on youtube. It was kind of hard to watch since the guy kept the camera or phone in his hand and it moved around a lot. Does anyone know of any other videos available?
Thanks

Oh I called Safelite here in Durango Colorado and they won't do it citing liability concerns. BUT if they sell me a new rear windo they'll do it. Go figure. I'm calling some other glass places. I really don't want to mess with this.
