Default Transmission cooler lines

I have a 2003 with 5.4 and aux transmission cooler and I believe the 4R70W transmission.

Trying to change the line that goes from the bottom of the radiator to the aux cooler because it sprung a leak. The replacement I ordered from RockAuto has screw connectors. Mine has the push connectors. Apparently this part is no longer available from Ford and their pictures seemed to indicate threaded connectors also.

I feel like I could make the RockAuto part work with an adapter. The threads going into the aux cooler (and I assume the radiator) are 3/4-16. The threads on the replacement line are 5/8-18. Ideally a 3/4-16 male to 5/8-18 female is what I need. Internet search came up empty. Does this exist?

Now that I look at it, the part that I got is SUNSONG 5801181 Auxiliary Cooler Outlet (Driver Side); Trans. code 4R100; w/ auxiliary Cooler. I believe that my truck has the 4R70W. I do not see this part listed for that transmission.

Anybody else run into this?

Connector removed from aux cooler

The radiators usually come set up for either trans. Is there an insert in the radiator you can take out?

The only thing that I think that I can do is remove the quick connector (top picture) but the threads are too small on the line. If I could find an adapter, I think it would work.

I kept the parts on both ends and replaced the middles with metal lines and rubber hose.

That is what I do too, especially on the Silverados
Even though you can get the lines cheap, they are hell to replace
So, I just replace the leaking rubber sections of hose
GM is **** poor at crimping those trans cooler lines, much worse than the Ford stuff
