yea you right bro, but im trying to do it for cheap! can I run an get a compressor (that'll hook up to my battery an not a plug in) and tank from like home depot, lowes, harbor freight, maybe walmart or someother store like that? think they would have one of those, like a 2 gallon one possible? that would possibly be cheaper and I imagine they would have the hoses, I can get some fittings from work and could get just the horns themselves off eBay or a website. just looking to do it for cheaper than buying a $200, $300 an up kit, college kid on a budget here! lol

Habor freight would be cheapest for the compressor, im not sure about where you live, but we have a few dedicated hose shops here in dfw, so thats where i usually get my hoses and fittings! Yeah man, i know a thing or two about the college student budget.. been living it for the past few years..lol

that's what I figured about the compressor, that an the train horn are what cost so much. I live in St Charles Parish, right outside new orleans, Louisiana. i can get some fittings from work an possible hoses to, if not I can run to home depot and get some hose. there probably are dedicated hose shops around here I'll just have to find them! then I would have to find a horn somewhere!!

I have 2 stebel nautilus compact horns on my truck wired up to go off with the stock horns. I did not want to have to hook up compressors and air tanks.
They sound pretty good. I have picks in my profile.

There's a kid at my school that thinks his truck is BAD cause he has Train horns but their direct drive like these. When he blows them they sound like this 'gg gaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy' my horns are like 10 times louder than his
