Torsion keys??

I cranked my torsion bars up and when in 4x4 now if I turn more than a quarter turn it grinds alot and won't let me turn any further, the ride does get stiffer. If it was me I'd just spend the 100 dollars and get the keys and either way make sure to get an alignment afterwards.

It's probably your cv axles binding

Yes it's the cvs grinding because of the angle cranking the stock torsion keys put them at

Yup...aftermarkets work via the same concept, except could potentially cause more damage because they allow for further travel (to raise the front end higher). more angle = more stress on those CV axles...
