Cranking your torsion Bars just calls for a stiffer ride, I drive a 7700 and just cranked mine and it evened her out.

How do you "crank" the stock torsion bars? I have a 01 supercab 4x4 step side and can't stand the diving front end much longer. It seems to me crew cabs sit higher and more level than the other body styles. It's time for new tires and I would like to go bigger

just go under the body and tighten i belive its two torsion bar bolts to even out your truck like he said above its a stiffer ride but i dont know what bad things can come out of it have you looked at a leveling kit?

You're CV axles will be at a crazy angle. So you could rip your boot and your ball joints will wear faster

If you can get 2-2.5" on the stock bars, why on earth would anyone waste $100 on torsion keys? I may only go 1-1.5". Will this strain the cv's and joints beyond what they were engineered to do?
