Default Torsion Bar Crank Video or How to?

Search around the forum and youtube but didn't see a 97-03 F150 video.

Any place to find some pics or video?

Thanks

Crawl under there and take a look, it's simple. Right at the aft end of the torsion bar is a key with a bolt that cranks it up. Measure you wheel fender height before and after

Be careful not to crank to much, it will look cool but the more you crank, the more it wears on your front end( ball joints cv joints etc) and the more you crank the more it bucks like a. Bronco

Sounds simple enough, if I knew what/where the torsion bar was.

im wanting to crank mine just a bit just to level the front end. prolly about 1 1/2 to 2 inches of lift i need. i have heard good and bad things about doing this... some guys at school say it will wear the front end out faster but im not wanting to crank them all the way. what do you think?

As long as you don't crank them all the way you'll be fine. I did mine over four years ago and issues to date.
