did you seat the cv joints in the whole way? that doesnt seem like something that would be fixed with adjusting the torsion bars just the angle of the cv. Check the heat shields as soon as they get loose they rattle.

It is just a rattle when I hit a bump. everything has been secured very well on the truck from numerous issues during offroading. It has not done this before I did the work yesterday. The noise is driving me insane because I don't know what it is. If I knew what it was, or how to eliminate it, I would be fine...lol

Cranking stock keys fully is fine... but cranking aftermarket keys past that can get bad. Because it will fully max your bumpstops out and cause serious stress.

Thanks for all the input and advice. I appreciate it. Adjusted the torsion bars to level the front end, and all is well.

yeah ive had my torsion bars cranked a lot for a long time. it really all depends on the suspension components you got. my factory ball joints wore out quick. dana ball joints have been holding up extremely good, its like it isnt even putting stress on them as long as you keep them greased. been runnin them a long time. napa cv shafts, went through like 6. o'reilly cv shaft, holds up great. the boot is designed different, makes a huge difference. i really dont think i even have to worry with my dana ball joints and o'reilly cv shafts. thats just me though i guess.

Well I have the lift keys which i think im goin to install instead of just cranking the stock ones the whole way this way it can still be aligned correctly. Then I guess I'll just go form there to see how I like the ride quality and as far as ball joints and suspension parts go the truck has 240,000 miles so Im sure something is bound to go soon. This will just help me figure out what I need to upgrade lol
