Default Torque Converter Compatibility

Hello, I own a 1997 f150, 4x4, 4.6L with over 230K miles. The transmission has been dying a slow death. I recently bought a used, (though supposedly recently rebuilt) 4r70w from a wrecked 2001 f150, 4x4, 5.4L to replace the one in my truck. I understand I will need to modify the transmission wiring harness/pin connectors for the swap.

My question is regarding the torque converter. My understanding is that I should not use the one from the 5.4L for my 4.6L. Can I use the one from my current truck? Or should I buy new, and if so, which one should I get?

I hope my question makes sense. Thanks!
