Default torque app

For those of you using torque app. What cell phone mount are you using?

I picked up a couple similar ones for 99 cents a piece. Stick it in the air vent. By the shifter. Works good for navigation too.

I dont understand why people want to view torque as they drive. Ok, its fun for like 5 minutes. Unless it does MPG for your vehicle wrong. On my wifes pilot it displays 2X the mpg. I know I dont get 44 mpg on the straight and flat.

I also prefer the scantools mode 06 to torques 06 readout.

But...to the question at hand....I use a magnetic mount that goes in the CD slot on my head unit. I have a metal plate under the back cover on the phone. Just place it in place and it stays there. Great. Was $8 on ebay. I had to modify it , the plastic and metal on mine was too inflexible to spread apart well when **** is turned. I cut it part way thru with dremel cutoff wheel. looks like this pretty much.

Hmm. Then you're looking at a windshield suction cup I'd guess.

I never leave defrost and floor setting. 9 of 12 months on heat.

My gf has one of these. Although hers just sticks to the dash with some sort of tape.

Pick up a cheap android tablet and you will be set. I dont use mine every day but if im towing for an extended period of time or pulling multiple grades I am watching my trans, coolant, and ambient air temps.

My mpg readout is spot on but I had to compensate for my tires in the settings.
