I put a couple speaker jacks in my back doors when I replaced my door speakers. Then I mounted the old speakers (still in good condition) in two boxes from mcmelectronics.com that I got cheap. When I'm at the beach or somewhere I just plug them in the doors, turn off the sub, and it'll go for hours. Plenty loud to hear a good distance away from the truck not to mention the boxes look good sitting on the roof of the truck. I know I'm not in a 97-03 though but same theory should work.

Some old speakers out a neon. Ran to an old 2channel Jensen. The head unit in my truck controls it. I just fade it to the back and it doesn't pull hardly any power

That would be pretty cool if I would put my lightbar on again instead of putting my work lights on I could put those on.
