Too Much For A Lift????
 

I went to a local mechanic here in town and told me they would put in the 4-5" rough country lift in for $1600. Thats the lift and labor. Is that pretty good?? And is there another cheaper lift than the rough country lift?

From what ive heard the Rough Country lift is the cheapest. As far a labor, that sounds a little much.

seems like a good deal to me...... yes the RC lift is the cheapest..... the local shops around here charge $700 to put one on , we can buy one from rough country for $999 , and you know the local shops will jack the price of the lift up so they can make some money off of it also , so $1600 sounds like a deal to me

I did a 4 inch trailmaster myself. It wasn't as bad as you would think. Did in my garage by myself. It took two days of not killing myself. Came out great and saved the labor install dollars.

where did you get the trailmaster lift and how much was it?

Install it yourself.. $1600 seems fair. $1000 for the kit, $600 labor. Labor is huge on lifts.

labors huge on anything these days...i think its like 90+ these days

my freinds dad said hed charge me like 300 to install a lift and he does it in his back yard and he said if i help him it would take like a day
