Looking for good strong tires. I tow/haul a lot, would like low noise and a nice ride. Love quality, looking to get my moneys worth out of a set.

My Silent Armors performed great on and off road, were quiet, and wore well. They were also rock solid when towing 3500 and 5000 pound trailers. They've been superceded by a newer design (Adventurer, I think?) , but I've also heard good things about them.
I just put KO2's on, and am impressed by how quiet these are, too. Not sure you want/need the more aggressive design, though.
(Both were/are load range E.)

P. S. Did you install those front inner fender extensions yet?

So should I be looking for high ply with a deep tread for longevity and comfort ? What I've noticed through the years, - Michelin seems to be one of the best. And from what I've noticed so far Michelin is giving 70,000 mile warranty's on a few I've looked at.
Should more less let you know where I'm at in this lol. I'm also looking for my original sized tire 265 70 17.

OhioLariat - Other than the Silent Armors wearing quickly, I haven't had a single problem with them. No balancing issues or busted belts, the ride was nice and quiet. They just seemed to wear quickly between 25,000 and 35,000 miles. Perhaps I wasn't keeping enough air in them ?

For comparisons, Tire Rack has some of the best aggregate consumer-survey information. HERE is a comparison chart on various AT tires.

Thanks for the list, that's exactly what I did last time. I went to Tire Rack and went with the top rated at the time. It was quick and easy and it was Tire Rack. #1 at the time -
Goodyear Fotera Silent Armors
P265 70R 17 113T
Tread 5 2 ply
Sidewall 2 ply
Max load 2535
Max PSI 44

Ah, I have the "Pro-Grade" E-rated tires. Yours are Load Range "C." Not sure if that could contribute to our wear variations, but it does explain the max sidewall pressures (and C's will be a bit more puncture-prone).

That might of been what I was suppose to get or wanted. What I did, I seen what was #1 then headed up to discount tire and voiced the name I wanted, not the rating. That's probably what I did. Yea not doing that this time lol.
