Tires, what do you think about these?

If you're up for a little "light" reading, THIS ARTICLE gives a plethora of info on the subject of load ratings, etc.
Andy
P. S. Based on the table in that article, my '99's GY's may be Load Range "D," not "E." I'll have to look at the sidewall again.

I'm kind of leaning towards Michelins 10 ply E's.
I did pull a heavy trailer for awhile, well, it was a little over 5000 lbs so not that heavy.
So your max psi is 65 and ran 44 front, 42 rear. How did you work out that figure, is there a formula ? That's what I need to figure out.
BTW, - before I forget, -nope, didn't install the wheel well pieces yet. I'll let you know when I do.

There is a formula based on max load rating at max pressure vs. actual load. There's also the "chalk test." Some people swear by one or the other, and others say both are crap. Who knows? I surveyed multiple sources (forums, etc.) and based my pressures on what I found most people running successfully. I checked for abnormal tire wear at each rotation as well, and never saw any.

P.S. Look forward to hearing about the extensions, and also, check out the edits to my prior post.

So I did some looking at the Toyo's you started with, As long as you get the LT versions you get (E1) load range and 50k warranty but not sold or reviewed at Tirerack or Discount Tire.
KO2 are still the top tire, but suck on ice. But for some reason they are listing higher than the other choices.

I love my General AT2's. They are very quiet now that they are broken in and barely noticeable when they were brand new. They've been great in snow, sand, on the Hwy and in light Mud.
They didn't care for the thick backwood mountain spring mud. They had to spin real hard to excavate the mud from the tread but the truck never got stuck unless I did something wrong.
My best friend has Cooper AT3's and loves them. They are a bit lighter than mine and from what I've seen driving his Toy, they are a great all around AT.
In two years, I may make the jump to General Red Letter Grabber MT's just because I've been so happy with these Generals.
Everyone tried to tell me to go to the newer BFG KO2's but I have no buyers remorse.
