I recommend you keep trying, it's a world of diffrence. If you're overinflated your tires will wear out faster and uneven.

Do you not have a local truck stop? You can try finding a scale using this website http://www.coopsareopen.com . Just select your state and it will give you a list of those truck weigh stations usually near highways. Maybe there is one near you. It's worth the trip, goodluck!

I have no way of weighing my truck. I run P245/75/16 Firestone Destination A/Ts. Maximum tire pressure is 44lbs. My loads are very light to slightly moderate--never real heavy. Would a presure of 36-38lb be appropriate?? It's a 1997 F150
