Default Offset and wheel width

Hey everyone. I'm going to have to get new tires soon, and I was planning on getting new wheels along with them. I currently have 285/75r16 tires, but I'm planning on moving up to 305/70r16. No taller but about 2 inches wider. Have plenty of space with my current tires, so I figured a little wider won't hurt, especially with how often I off road. My question is, I want to stance my '99 a little. Nothing super aggressive, but I do want the tires past the fenders some. I'm going to get off road fender flares as well and they protrude probably an additional 3 inches compared to stock, so I want the tires to be out about that far as well. Anyone have any suggestions, ideas, comments? TIA!

I ran 305/70r16s on a 16x10 wt -24mm of offset. Had to trim my valence wt my tbars turned up to 23".

I really doubt you are going to find a 16x14 to get the extra offset you want so you should probably look into 2" Bora adapters and 16x10 with around -24mm offset.

With that much offset you will probably need a lift of some sort but I don't know that for sure.

Thanks for the reply. Happen to have a picture of that setup my friend? I'd like to avoid anything more than cranking the tbar and some trimming. Can't afford a lift as well as tires right now.

I'm sure I have one somewhere on here. I'll look around and see what I can find. You could always go with the 16x10 at -24 or -36 and just turn you tbars up for the time being.

Thanks for the link. Those look like 0 offset almost. They sit about where my tires do now. Did yours stick out any more than that with the offset?

That's what I was getting at about the extended flares. If you look into his profile on the full site he has a picture or two without. Mine sat pretty fat and happy with 305s. If I got in mud and had to stomp it I did not have a problem painting my truck. Lol

I'll try and log into my old imgur account and see what I find.
