I had a 5.4 that was dynoing around 320/340 and blew a HG. Instead of spending another $2k-$3k in engine repairs, I decided to buy a new vehicle. Going to pick up a Z06 Vette on sunday.

My buddy just got an 03 cobra, you're gonna love the car, but hate the amount of money you're gonna be dumping in it to go faster haha

Sad part is i have owned a couple 10-11 sec mustangs that actually handled great but doesnt compare to a Vette. The LSx motors are hard to compete with. I will be keeping the Truck but will just be swapping in a stock 5.4...

I still have my F150 and it will be the toy hauler to SCCA events. Its getting a new engine in a few weeks.

Not looking for a argument. I am a mustang fan, and wanted something different. Didnt feel like building another mustang..
