Default Thunk in rear when turning

Would this be due to bad u joint? Also shocks are toast !! Got kayaba monomax coming should be here Monday

since its only when turning could it be the diff? i dnt have a lot mechanical knowledge but ive heard a lot on here that ppl have problems like that and change the diff fluid and add friction modifer and that clears it right up-i might be wrong but could be worth a search on here if that sounds right

I have it in the shop right now,told him to check it out...free manifold leak went from free to $3500!!!

Rear wheel bearing or possible differential side play. If its a locker diff, you may need to change the fluid and add more modifier. You'd be surprised how well that stuff works to keep the rear diff working and sounding good. If not a locker, then side gear play or worn pin in the spiders.

I literally had the same thing going on rear passengers side. It sounded a ton of weight was shifting from left to right... a few days later my shackle bracket exploded off the truck and shot through the bed. Fixed all and the rear thud went away. I dont know if it was a coincidence but after fixing all noises dissapeared.
