thunk noise after ball joint replacement

ok thank you i was seeing the stud and was worried about it not being all the way seated. im wondering if my thunk when i brake is something else now

Yup, that doesn't look right to me either...and I unfortunately have done a lot of ball joints.
Whats the clearance between the LCA and the outside hub/spindle?

How hard was it to replace the lower? I ask because if it was really easy, you may need the K8695T006 Moog. The centers wallow out and will clunk without the OS joint.

The other question on the boot. Moog dropped the oem design and went to the sealed boot. The spindle to the joint pin is the same, it just doesn't have the big grease boot anymore. It looks strange as hell, but that's the way they are now.
