Heard there was some tick-borne illness going around, hope it's not that.

The vet thinks she might have diabetes. Gotta take her back in on Thursday to test again. She wouldn't eat or drink Thursday or Friday. My Wife and I were shooting baby food in her mouth with a syringe, as well as water and putting ice in her mouth.

Who knows though... I'm going to look up that tick borne illness and see if it checks out though! I seriously got her this morning and told her how much she meant to me... got the tears flowing thinking about how wonderful she's been. About 20 minutes later, she hopped off my lap and started drinking water. A bit after that, she ate some chicken my Wife made her. She's not 100% tonight, but she has come a lonnnng way.

It was after... the failure was due to only a 5 roller sprag.

When you soak them first, it prevents glazing on the first engagement. You're supposed to measure clearance dry, then soak and reinstall. Sometimes it doesn't work out that way though, lol.

That's tough. I've seen them go a couple days w/o eating or drinking much..hell we even do that when not feeling well. Keeping hydrated is most likley just as important to an animal, Forcing the to drink with a syringe, I bet that was no fun.

Had to do the syringe thing in the past for medication. Nothing else worked, hot dogs or whatnot. They wised up to it. Eat the hotdog and spit out the pill . They hate the syringe thing, has to be done sometimes.

Good luck, hard to figure out sometimes.

I hope she's turned the corner. It's been a much better night for her. She really likes my friend up the street... and he came over tonight. She got up to see him and get her loves from him. That was a huge thing compared to yesterday when he was over.
