Thanks, I got lucky that my grandfather had good taste in vehicles.
He bought it new and still in the family.

I started driving again last week, but I can't drive the F-150 because it requires to much pedal pressure for my foot, so I need new brake pads for the F-150 (yes, again). This is due to the heavy duty/towing & off-road brake pads never getting up to operating temp. I was thinking Bosch Premium semi-metallic, or maybe Motorcraft ($$$$), to ensure I have good initial bite and street characteristics, now that the truck is only serving duty as the world's dumbest commuter car. What's the current wisdom on pads?

I've been converted to Bosch, personally. They make a great pad. They make no noise, and stop great. I took the Raybestos pads off my Toyota because of the racket they made, and put Bosch on it. Very nice upgrade!

I have been using Bosch rotors on everything, as they have proven to be really good, too. In fact, the truck has Bosch rotors.

Yep, their rotors are awesome too! They've been the only rotors that don't warp on my 2011 Escape.

I decided it's time to move into Wifi 7. I'm getting fiber at the end of May, and I may as well increase the speed and uses MLO. It's 4 x faster than Wifi 6.

I ordered 3 of these:

I drove to my buddy's today and grabbed his car hauler and drove 80 miles up into the thumb of Mi. to rescue him and another buddy.
They were up there looking at old gas pumps for sale, and his 2016 RAM wouldn't start.
Hauling the empty trailer up there wasn't bad, the trip back was a little more stressful.
The steel bodied RAM and trailer outweighed my Aluminum F-150.
We kept extra stopping distance and slowed down early, it went smooth until someone cut in front of us while we were going thru a round-a-bout thingy. The inside front tire locked up when I had to jam the brakes on @ 15mph.
It was literally the last mile before we got to the shop/ buddy's pole barn to drop of the truck and trailer.
It was bumper to bumper, and the jerk pulled out in front of us because he was in a hurry and didn't want to be behind us in traffic. After the day my buddy was having, I was worried he was going to jump out of the truck to go and yell at the guy.
But he stayed put and just bitched at him.

Going to have a bright red Viper coming for paint correction soon.

Oof! I had an oh s*** moment like that years ago shortly after I started towing a little 19' travel trailer with my '99. I avoided the incident, and promptly ordered an Odyssey inertia brake controller to replace the cheaper timer-based one I had upon returning from that trip (and after doing some laundry) . I'm glad your situation turned out OK.

As for the Viper: I'm drooling.
