Kinda had a tough go the past few days. A good friend of mine was in a really bad car accident about 3 weeks back. He was in the hospital for about 2 weeks, and he died on Monday. Our daughters grew up together. His funeral was yesterday.

In his death, he donated his only kidney and his liver so that two others could live. Oh, and the first kidney was donated to a random coworker of his daughter. Just a really super good human. I need to be more like him.

They could not find a match for his his heart, or that would've been donated too.

Condolences Shane, it sucks to lose friends.

Yes... super good dude. The news did a story highlighting him... he was a milk man until they decided to end delivery in 2013.

My grandfather and dad delivered for Twin Pines Dairy

I can remember my dad telling me about carrying a pistol during the 1968 riots in Detroit.

Morning, waiting on a guy to come by a light bar for a HD Electra Glide.
Driving 3 hrs. for my $100 part.
I know I had a good price on it but 3 hrs. with these gas prices.

I got it for 3.89 this morning, which seems like a deal compared to what I've been seeing!
