Using a 4, 3, 1 mix. I asked at the paint store if that would work OK for this paint, and they said if my gun does well with it, use it.

Blow tack and static.... If running a microfiber rag across it counts, then yes, LOL. I figure this won't ever be seen, so why waste the time? Hell... it worked so well, I might not do much more to the fender.

I'll just say that the HF purple gun has exceeded my expectations once again. I am thoroughly impressed.

With the ***-end of the paint, I went over the POR'd stuffs.

LOL, no. Whirlpool is sending someone to come put a new top in it. Their instructions on the box make the box unusable for returns anyway.... so the box was gonna be mine either way, lol.

In hindsight, I should have taken the damn thing back and told them to order me a new one.

Yeah, but it was easier to have them come out if it was just cosmetic.

Fan Friggen Tastic. The guy i got the truck from said that it happened after his PCV valve was blocked. I was really hoping it was the valve cover gasket. Its been way to hot the last few weeks to get under the truck. I need to change the oil and will check out where the oil is originiating from, i hope you are wrong white. but deep down i know your not lol.

My 98 Expy did it BAD! A quart every fillup.

This support is not a precise fit.

If your leak follows the bell housing down, and drips from the rubber plug in the bell... it's a really high chance that it's your head gasket.

Luckily, my 97 had a replacement motor put in at 100K in 2001. It has the modifications done already.

We had a low mile Mustang come in with the head gasket leaking, after putting it up in the air we noticed that side of the floor pan had been recently cleaned. We called the customer to ask how long they owned it. They had bought it from a dealer the previous fall and hardly drove it, then in the spring it started leaking.

We took pictures of the obvious fact that the dealer hid the leak and sold it.
They contacted a lawyer and had him contact the dealer with the pics we took.
They refunded them the money and took the car back instead of arguing about it.
If I recall they had put less than 1000 miles on it since they bought it.

I welded some.... riveted some... and had to use a bolt in one spot. It's a typical Certifit (aka SORTAfit) part. I don't think I've ever bought anything made by them that didn't require some ingenuity.

I forgot to put my leather steel toe's on before I started. Made for a nice burn on my foot, LOL.
