I got a quart AND hardener for 123 bones. I think I found my new paint shop. They also give you strainers and sticks. I hafta buy that at my usual stop. This paint is a PPG line. Should go on real nice.

Maybe "8!tc4" would have been more appropriate. Ford got really happy with the spot welds.

Gonna bring home some corrugated sheets from work tomorrow and start in on some POR work. I need to also allocate some clip nuts and bolts. I snapped a few bolts, and busted/spun clip nuts.

I think Ron gave me a box of them.... but I gotta find them.

Yeah, spot welds galore on the rockers as well.

I swapped the front bumper on the 98, it rusted through in spots. I recall those clip nuts being fun. Attempting to remove them w/o screwing up the plastic parts above and below the bumper. Some were just fused together.

So you have both body mounts removed now?

The bases are still in the perches. Hope those come out OK. I'll get a torch involved it needed. I ordered a couple sets of clip nuts.... the stuff Ron gave me is just for screws rather than bolts.

Drove my buddy Bill down to the impound lot to retrieve his personal belongings form his car.
He is pretty lucky the Ford Fusion kept him from serious injuries !

↑ We pulled this piece of the explorer out of the interior to access the console.

He says it spun him around 2 times.

↑ He opened the door and got out on his own, all the damage is from the accident.
The FD did not have to do anything to get him out.

And the Exploder that smoked him.
