I talked to the doctor about it. He said mine are too far gone to have it help. He said my only option is a total replacement... and he doesn't do them, so I know he's not just drumming up business.

For comparison... this is my left shoulder (the worst of the two)

This is what it's supposed to look like (thanks Google):

Pretty sure those didn't come in these until 2017. Those are $926.16. And requires sensor calibration with a windshield replacement.

I know they're going too call in the morning to see if I accept. Perhaps I can get Safelite to install the OEM windshield instead. I'll go along w/that. Might as well just have the dealership do it along with the body work.

Guess I'll have to see what we come up with tomorrow.
It will say Soundscreen right next to the Carlite logo... in fact it's bigger than the Carlite logo on mine (the 2011 Escape).

These were Moogs... I am floored. I installed them for my Dad probably 5 or 6 years ago.

Peter Boyle kind of brought back the role in this episode of ELR:

It kills sometimes.

The doctors suggestion to me was to try and wait until I am 55 to do it... so 5.25 more years. But, I don't know if I can wait that long.

Dang man, how does that happen ? I can guess....but I'll keep that one to myself lol.

You're too young to be wearing those out aren't yuh ? Looks painful, Cortisone shots never helped much ime. Doesn't look so good white. Messed my knuckles up, recall doing it and reminded of it daily it seems. Was at Ford Dbn test track next to Greenfield Village there, running a road grader at the time. Big chunk of steel was sticking out of the ground just enough, didn't see it in time so I nailed that thing with the blade down at about 10/15 mph. Stop me dead unexpectedly. The Machine has 18 metal levers w/metal rods that extend from about waist level all the way down to the floor. Was in a seat in front of them, they stopped me from going through the window. Knuckles hit first, smashed right to those metal rods.. My right knuckle is swollen now in fact. Was going to pull it out, decided against it....yeah ,not a good idea to pull on anything over there. Dug around it, torched it off. You've just been blessed with/ bonified bonfire story from jbrew

Well... when I was about 14 years old, I was riding my bike in a part of my parents neighborhood that was being built. There was a slab of sidewalk that we had jumped several times before... so I thought it was business as usual. Well, one day it was moved, and when I hit it, I flew over the handle bars and royally messes up my shoulders. That is where I believe most of it occurred. The doctor agreed that is very possible, because this has been messed up for quite some time.

Haven't seen Mel Brooks yet. Hackman and Wilder though, most definitely. It's gotta be good w/those two.

So you belong to the over the bars club. I've taken a few soil samples that way. Broke my clavicle once.

That's also termed a flying W btw

Gene Wilder told Mel Brooks that he would only do the movie if Mel wasn't in it. This is the only movie he made that he wasn't in, as I recall.

We always called it an "Endo" for "End Over".

I don't see a Carlite logo. There's a Super Duty logo and some kid of fancy mirror...not a camera mirror. Camera display is a in dash type; Windshield looks to be embedded with something though.

Doesn't really say on the sticker, -

See if I can transfer pics off the phone...this machine no like my phone, or vice versa lol.

Did I miss it, or did you say how your shoulders ended up like that? Accident...over the bars, doing 90??

Yes, Endo , very common here as well.

Soil sample....hands down all time favorite. As long as I'm not the excavator.

Last night googles AI was saying Prime and Netflix had Young Frankenstein. Liar! Hell they didn't even have a pic of the cover, just a no uh uh....

Said MAX did as well. Don't think I have that one. Isn't that a Prime add on? Have Disney...Still can't recall my Mouseketeer badge number..
