Turned an Insurance claim in for a windshield, first time experience with type of thing. They're trying to get me to install a aftermarket cheapy using their affiliates or people. Not sure how I should feel about that. Yes I do, cheap bastids! Now they're pressuring me to go ahead with it. They just sent me the estimate.
Mine might need to be calibrated with the front sensors so I doubt their cheapy will work.. progressive
280 for a windshield...seriously ? Too cheap.
BTW- that's for the Super Duty. Truck was parked, branch fell during the last windstorm. Spidered it on the passenger side, dings in the hood as well.

If you remember, mine also broke whilst sitting there parked. I'm pretty sure the lawn mower (fire) incident kicked up rocks, and that's what caused it.
