My F-150 Job is being a pain in the ****.
It has the swollen nut blues....
I had to pound a socket onto the lugnut and then pound it out of the socket.
He just had tires put on last fall and they should have been replaced then.
He would have been screwed trying to change a flat himself.

Finally got the wheels off and took a look at the pads and rotors, they were new last fall also.
So, I ordered calipers, hoses, and lug nuts.

Then on my way to pick everything up it starts raining 6 hours earlier than forecasted.
Once I got home it started raining pretty heavy.
It's gonna rain all day tomorrow too.

At least my Sporty parts will be in tomorrow.....

Happend to my escape, of course i was at ford and even though they said they know their chrome covered lugs are garbage, they put them back on and of course, charged a hefty penny. Needless to say when i painted my rims, i got solid black lugs, no cheesy chrome casing.

Man, I really miss my battery gauge lol.

Gonna make another attempt to fix at the next train crossing or I'm leaving it on the rails..

Not Gorilla.
McGard is better.

Customers truck, and he is giving it to his daughter.
I just picked up the Dorman solid lug nuts that retail for $3.51 although I paid less than that with my account.

Has the horrendous cam phaser rattle at start up also.
I explained to him if you hold the gas pedal down to the floor for the 1st 4-5 seconds cranking the engine, it will prime the engine with oil, then lift your foot off the gas pedal and it will start.
A lot less wear instead of letting it rattle till it gets oil.

Sweet **** this has been a lot of work. The clear around the wheel lip is very thick. I went until my shoulders tapped out.

Phil... have to ever tried to clear brushed aluminum? Just wondering if it's any different than just painting.

Should be the same, but I would try and find something durable made for wheels.
Brake dust is nasty and could etch into a cheap spray can clear.

Something like this.
SprayMax® 3680069 2K High Speed, High Gloss Clear Coat
