I hear ya....
I had to move the Vette to moms and bring the Ultra back home.
Can't find the throttle sensor pass thru wires in any diagram.....
So, I took my bike apart to back probe the connector, so I know the polarity when I wire it up.

Hot.

And not.

Passing the toasty test.

I bought one of those Power Probe's a while back - and it's still in the package. I need to learn how to use it... not that it looks hard.

My next door neighbor told me today that he's selling their house... marriage is going south. I told Ron, and he's pretty interested. There's room for a big azz garage over there. Used to be a bus or two sitting right where the chunk of land is.

I'm tired of moving my bench vise by lifting the whole bench/stand every time. I just picked up one of these. Gotta run to Salt Lake for a bit, then I'll put it together tonight. If it's decent, I might get one for my stand that has my drill press and grinder on it.

I've noticed Paul using a mag drill lately. Any of you fellers use one? They look pretty cool.

I've never used one but we've had a few come in for auction at work. They're pretty cool but man they are heavy!

Interesting... I hadn't really thought about the weight of it. I just was looking at the specs after your post... the two I've been looking are are 27.8 pounds a piece!! Yowza.

The mobile base that I got is really sweet. When I was putting it together, I was thinking it wasn't going to work very well... but it works sweet.

I used a Porta Mag before it was really heavy and had a really strong electromagnet on it.
We were making a 4x8 fixture table and had to drill and tap holes in it.

Wow!
They are pretty affordable now.

Pretty sure we'll get a demo derby video from Paul soon. I'm friends with Ben on FB, and he commented on a pic of Lando and his GF standing next to a freshly used derby car.
