There may be a bit of a twist in that narrated video, but he fact remains that Tesla's technology is sub-par when compared to other manufacturers. Rober's video (below) was posted just 5 days ago, so nothing's being dredged up from the past.

The reason I said this should be the news article is because people put total faith in these autonomous driving systems thinking theyre infallible, and Musk has made misleading statements to reinforce these misconceptions about Tesla specifically.

I agree that the Roadrunner-esque painted-on road test isn't true-to-life, but others aren't out of the realm of possibility, and the fact remains that the more sophisticated tech was effective in situations where Tesla's failed.

 

There is a guy that is a "town celebrity" by me that I've seen going down I-80 reading a book in his Tesla. I think he's crazy. I don't trust it, no matter what is proven to me. But, I'm also the guy that hates "riding 8itc4" because I want to be in control of the car.
