That little red 85 Scooby Doo GL used to pound on my Buddy's 86 Mustang with a 2.3 liter. LOL.... (long story short) that Suby turned out to be why I got into Fox's though. This pic was in April-May of 1994.
I always liked the IROC styling. And I'm surprised/disappointed that the series never gained traction. (Yeah, I did that.) I always thought that the matched cars gave a good race.
I just liked the sales chick who sold it to me. She was very polite.
Ford truck guy 100%.
Anyway, first gen Bronc would be my choice for a build.
. Built a monster when I was younger, was getting pulled due to a height law. I rebelled and modified the frame to be within legal limits, didn't look bad. Judge ordered me to find a new hobby. Found pictures of that truck and my old Iroc Z.
This because of too-tall-tires? Not v safe on city hwy.

I'm not sure exactly.... something like that. They measure to the ground from the lowest part of the frame. That was underneath the drivers seat....was 22.5" with 40's, illegal with 44's. Over 2'.
Colorado sure has some boney lookin trees...in beautiful houses.
Ohio is right about being natural. Lake Denio in NV, Lake Tahoe, you could see to the bottom. Colorado is a beautiful, rustic, boney state. Get too many there, crowdedness, dirt of all sorts, will get imported. It will go to heck. Minimalism is where we need to put our life and lives.

Need at least a string of white ones. You know...so Santa can find the damn thing.
My '87 LX hatch must've been built on a Wednesday, because that thing was pretty quick. I bought it bone stock right down to the air intake silencer. (Still miss that car.)
Another car I had that surprised a few people was my' 80 Plymouth "Fire Arrow." A lightweight tin can with a 2.6L 4-banger.
Mine had Challenger wheels (1-inch larger), rear window louvers, and tinted windows. I did some head work on it, replaced the carb, and installed JC Whitney headers and a "Monza" exhaust. Had an "H. O." sticker made in the same font as the "2.6L" badge on the back, too. That put it over the top!
