Oh my, that's a real problem!

I bought a $22 Amazon special but I haven't installed it yet. I was waiting for the other truck to be sound enough to get me to work, and now that it is, we have the longest stretch of below freezing temps and snow since I moved here a decade ago.

I've probably been looking at the same one. I'm a little OCD about how the "OVERDRIVE OFF" looks on it. Does yours look as bad as the pics do?

Yeah, last night I went to go move some furniture out of my parents house.... so naturally, I took the truck. I went to put it in reverse, and the busted right off.

Yes, it looks awful. Identical to the Dorman unit. I would very much have preferred a stock unit, but my current one is a junkyard unit from just a year ago. I'd like to not keep doing this every year.

This is why I'm considering epoxy, but I also don't want to be effing around with it every five minutes.

You can still get them from Tasca

Good to know! I'll have to see if I already blew my 30 days to return.

Apparently the 97/98 is a little different. But the 99-03/04H is here:

Oh yeah.... Kansas!! I saw Steve Morse with the Dixie Dregs back in 2000 when they opened for Dream Theater.
