Agreed... I didn't actually "need" them. But with my luck it'll throw a code a week after I had it staring at me like this. I replaced the rears about a year ago.
I really like Forscan. I actually wound up purchasing the perpetual license for it. I don't think they have that option anymore.
My new scanner though... it's freakin' awesome. My 06 Escape has an airbag light that will come on sometimes. My scanner told me there's a problem with the ground bracket on the B pillar of the passenger side.
The last time I played with Forscan on the ABS issue, it gave a rather nondescript result. I wish I had something like that, White.
I've also been dealing with a check engine light for a long time. Random lean codes, and the only thing that I haven't done is change out the sensors. As you know, unless you disassemble the truck, those front ones are almost impossible to get to. Maybe I'll soak the rears with Kroil and at least do those myself. I'll be under the truck for the muffler soon (I hope) anyway.
Using Kroil I have never broken a 3V spark plug, and I really think that's why I was able to get all of the exhaust studs out without breakage. Soaking them for a couple days was very beneficial.
Have to disagree. If Kroil worked as good as you thought the nuts would of came off ..imo. Those threads don't even look wet. They look clean, that's why they came out. Kroil can't penetrate through the heads. Not sure what can. It would be nice though!
