Thinking v2
Thread post count is something they, IB, looks at and wants nipped in the bud before it gets too bad in order to keep things running smooth as possible
least thats my attempt to read Martians mind... So if I am wrong please correct me
Hmmm.... well, I quit going to the Tater thread because I was missing stuff in 10th Gen that I could help on. I'm sure I'm not the only one either (that will miss threads where they can help). Your call, but I disagree with it. There's still a good deal of 10th gen talk in that thread.
It looked like it had turned into more of an off-topic thread several thousand pages ago, so I thought here made sense. The heads don’t like when off topic stuff attributed to post count because it can make a user look like they contribute a lot more than they actually do, so likes and post count got turned off for OT. The post and like count affect how users are selected when advertisers need influential people to review things, so it was unfair for a person with 100.000 off topic posts got a free thing when someone grinding only in the truck forums missed out.
I'm often considered a old stick in the mud, pedantic, so - I feel them. A post or two on weather, are ON Topic, when attached to Ford F150's, maybe 7700's, and potentially showing a pitfall of a "mere 150."
I did not know Thinking was a tenth gen sub forum. It sort of seemed so...
I'd love that. Sorry, but Camaro posts are of only a v small interest, and even me, a Cobra past-owner, finds them a BIT OT in a 150 forum.
Can we do an F150 tenth gen EDIT; THINKING sub forum???
This, wildly open, no-likes for guidance forum leaves me very cold.

I haven't been asked once about getting anything "special" about reviews, whatever, free things.... So if you're thinking I've had some special treatment, I'm not sure what you're referring to. Hell, I can't even get a larger "inbox" unless I pay for it for **** sakes.
The way I look at it is, anyone that's actual help with a Gen 10 was a frequent poster in that thread. Why? Because they scroll through the new stuff while in the F6 (Gen 10) sub-forum. IMHO, that sub-forum is going to suffer now.
BTW, who are "the heads"? If you recall, someone complained about us a while back. We were told that we were OK using that thread as we were... but now it's a problem?
