And that's how so many smoke these engines. Although very resilient...they most definitely are not idiot proof.

Think I need to change plugs in the Mustang. I had it out last evening and in a second-gear pull at about 5K RPM, it felt (and sounded) like a cylinder dropped out. Likely spark blowout, since I'm at about 9 PSI by that point. It was semi-repeatable, but didn't happen every time. The plugs have about 15K on them, but lots of F/I guys say they should be changed at 10K.

NGK TR-6's will be ordered. Should be fun. I have to disassemble the S/C inlet piping just to *see* two of the plugs.

That sounds "fun", Ohio. I bet it was fun to get it out, nonetheless!

I'm over here trying to figure how I'm going to get at this exhaust stud/nut. I run right into the motor mount with a socket. When it's all out, I'm going to notch that son of a gun.

Every time I drive this car, I grin like a little kid.

Need to evaluate the cap and rotor as well, but will probably change the plugs regardless.

Have to wonder if some of these are fakes....

The local AdvanceZoneRiley's want close to $6 per plug. Might look at RA, too.
