Some minor storage and care fee would not be unreasonable. $50/ mo? You HAD to insure it until it wad picked up, too, and, test run it weekly or so.

I won't Thurs.. supposedly.` Sold it 8 months ago actually, guy never picked it up. Now the same guy is coming to get it with money in hand (his words)..he's going to pay for twice apparently.

Danggg why can't I forget he paid for it already.

I think the truck is attempting to put cash in my pocket one last time ..you know, for the road.

If the bare metal roof is new/free of defect, then primer, base, clear. Or primer and single stage. I'm doing single on the core support, since it's under the hood.
Thanks White. The roof is partially w/o paint and serious rust but which hasn't pitted it... yet. I'll need to get some $5 sander. My body is too old and tired from chemo to manage the job by hand.

EDIT: Top 2 favored rattle can primers??? I do have auto body suppliers around me, also.

Drambue is OTC, at better liquor stores everywhere. Nice corked amber bottle. Great around the cold season, like Christmas. It's a Scottish liquor that some might say approaches being honey-sweet. In a pre-warmed 0.5 L beer stein, with hot water, makes the best, big hot toddy you ever had. Start with 2-3 oz. Add and test until the balance suits your taste. Great for helping a sickie rest or warming ypur cockles.

Yeah, she just turned 50.... so it's a gift too. He does great work, so I'm sure it will turn out awesome. We used to do a lot more together, but he works out of town now....

He has 3 main classics that he keeps around. He says it's her turn now.

I'm still living in said fog. It's been a weird day. I've fallen asleep no less than three times at my desk today.

I use these two.... top one being better if you're not bare metal. Bottom is better for bare metal.

.
Benadryl/diphenhydramine does that to me. Melatonin, far less so. 5mg chewable which the wife likes. I do better w 10mg time release than two chewables. Costco seems where to buy any of the 3, in my SF Bay Area. Walgreens wants $28 for 600 Benadryl and Costco, #6. Melatonin is around $20 I think. I think maybe Drambue is $30+, lol, but that is for actual colds and such. Been quite a while since that need.

I stopped and got a can of teal on my way home. I think my lungs are a little too susceptible to breathing in paint today though. I asked how much for a quart of base... sum8itc4. 140 dollars.

Yea I didn't register or insure it beginning last month.. Not sure what's going to happen there, truck has not been used. Grandpa left the things out in the field when they quit using them...a few are still there, -nobody bothered him lol. We'll see I guess.

Kind of feel like jbrew darky at the moment.
