Thinking v2
So this isn't for you then, just something you've heard ?
So who doesn't have a gen 10 in this thread ?
I won't Thurs.. supposedly.` Sold it 8 months ago actually, guy never picked it up. Now the same guy is coming to get it with money in hand (his words)..he's going to pay for twice apparently.
Danggg why can't I forget he paid for it already.
I think the truck is attempting to put cash in my pocket one last time ..you know, for the road.

Regardless, I got one side done. Went to do the other side and I couldn't find the studs. Looked for them for a little bit.. Yep, I only purchased 8 vs 16. I'll post the link.
BTW - The first set of four on top there don't have the correct amount of threads. Those would fail lol.
Not sure what they're made of...but the second pic are OEM style and what you need to steer clear of any issues in the future....that design also retains torque better after the first heat cycle. IF you flush and clean chambers before installing. Notice how much thread you have with those ? That's what you want.

Have they tried hitting it with a fist or hammer?
It is unbelievable how often that fixes things.
One of my kids explorers would have all the gages go dead, hit on top of dash would restore them. I was a solder thing that eventually fixed it.
A long time ago I had a clothes washing machine that would randomly stop working in the middle of a cycle. I looked on AOL message boards and some lady said she got hers to restart by hitting her washer in a certain spot with a fish. I thought she was making a joke until I realized she misspeled fist. I hit it in the appropriate spot next time it stopped and it restarted immediately and finished the wash. It too was solder joints.
