Huh, yea I don't see it.
This came with 8.1 on it, and I got it with 10 home on it.... but I put 10 Pro on it. So, in other words, and OEM software from Toshiba is gone. I'll have to see if there was something from them, but I am betting it woulda been tailored for the i5-3337U if so.

Maybe, but when I went from 2 core 1.6 to a two core 3.0 on the Dell laptop , Dells balanced settings kept it cool and quiet. There all I had and it kicked azz in balanced mode, would over heat in power mode and run the battery down quick. They worked for me.

In my notes, in power mode it would push 160* (F) and start screwing up. That was way too hot. In balanced it wouldn't go over 133* and had plenty of processing power. You could also customize your own modes, you know like tweak them a bit. So you had the option of tailoring your own.... Uknow , using the saved presets as starting point/reference. You have to know what I'm talking about now lol.

I used Speccy to watch the temps/fan settings for me.

Also, - I agree, Toshiba should have a power management settings download on site. However, it might be bundled, you know how they like to do that sometimes....crapware included lol.

Oh oh...lol

What are going to do wid it if you get that, 'Congrats, You Are the Winner!' email ? Actually, sellers are usually pretty cool about that if you let them know. You know, that you made a mistake in compatibility....if you dos so right away, or before auction end. You most likley know this already.

I did not YET, lol. Last night I went to a 50-year meeting of our senior class. I couldn't believe How Freaking old they looked. Everyone was quiet and in cliques. That is until I got there. None of the people there had I seen since 68 with exception of the mayor who I last saw in 75. I had to liven that morgue up. I hadn't been to any of the others, 25 and 40 year ones, so I had no idea how I would react. One of the prettiest girls in school; was like she had a 315/65/22 tire for a waist.

I sent 2100 back an answer, but I can't tell if it got thru. 2100 I sent an answer. Thank you I'll do it tomorrow when my geek friend comes by. No offense guys, he is just that one gut, Right down to the glasses and pocket protector, Where the hell do you even get pocket protectors anymore, lol.

Yeah I got it, let me know how it goes.

And my class is planning our 10yr reunion this year ... don't plan on going till at least 25yrs if not later. Anyone I cared to keep in touch with I did so don't really care about the others LOL. But it'll be interesting to see who's still kicking 50yrs later.

I went to my 25th, and shocked a lot of people. I was 5'8"-ish and probably 135 lbs at graduation, and kind of socially awkward, never went to parties, wore glasses, etc. Fast forward to the reunion, where I was 6'2" and 175, drinking a beer, and accompanied by an attractive, outgoing blonde I was dating at the time. One guy absolutely *refused* to believe I was me until I showed him my driver's license. He then went on to ask others, "You know who that guy is? Guess who that guy is! ..." THAT was fun, and the last one they had that I'm aware of.
