LOL... mine has been rebuilt twice at 205,000 miles. The F150 hasn't been at 245,000.

I wound up just buying the fluid. my Wife was mad when I told her I was going to change it with my hurt back..... so I remembered that "Happy Wife = Happy Life". Besides, she found airfare for about 200 dollars to fly to see her family. She would have been about that in gas anyway.... its 570 miles away. So, it saves a lot of time and wear and tear on the Escape.

I got the new bumper on Lit Red and it is so nice. Straight, clean and fits so well. I also crawled back under him and found why the shift cable is messing up. It seems that the link for the cable retainer was actually bent about 1/2 inch, and it wouldn't fully go into park. I pull the cable and with my 24 inch `1/2 extension, managed to get that dude back into the correct position. Now the shift lever is correct. I had to go under the dash next, only to find the adjuster for the pointed broken. Two wire ties later, and a stiff back, and it was again working right. Time to go pull that out of my buddies junk truck. Damn, I hate trying to get my big azz under that dash. Oh well, one more time won't kill me, At least I hope it won't.

You can get that part new cheap

Thanks for the prayers thinkers!- Dad has been diagnosed with West Nile Virus, that has caused viral meningitis, and has developed three subdural brain bleeds ( due to the blood thinners he has been on).- i humbly ask that you continue to keep dad in your prayers- he is no better medically/clinically- i am bound by the language in his living will, i cant request comfort care until he becomes, by definition, unconscious.- he is conscious, but there is a disconnect between his brain and his body at this time-
ive been running ol’ blue more thsn ever, but shes knocking off 14 MPG-( give or take a bit)- thats mostly highway, with some city in the mix- im not disappointed.
Thanks again my friends, peace to all, Bear

Ah crap, that sucks Bear. One of my old neighbors got WNV and it took quite a while to get back to somewhat health. He still has some neurological issues though. There was a confirmed case of WNV just recently here in UT. I thought it had died down quite a bit, but sounds like it is still relevant. Prayers for your Dad, Bear. I wish there was something more I could do, my friend!

I hate Sunday nights.... sitting here thinking of all the crap I've got to do this week in 4 days. I have 3 new servers coming in, and a new switch to expand the network.... because the two 48's are full. Someone shut my head down..... lol.

Bear, I don't know you more than what I've seen here, but feel for you and hope things turn around for your dad. Prayers for him and your family

White, I know what you mean. My brain churn started with an email I got late Friday afternoon telling me that the charter school I quoted a $45K video job and some access control upgrades, and they decided to go with a $15K quote. Mine was what the District wants them to use. I have no idea what this joker quoted, and want to find out. Six more school projects, a deli, and two commercial projects need to get quoted this week, too. Busy is good, but man, I need some contracts to get signed!

Good night, all, and a good week!

Today was the beginning of our county fair. Had to help the siblings/cousins get all the animals ready and down... which somehow always ends up with llamas tied up to my truck cz what better place to do that? Lol. Oh and here's a pic of the model b heading down too... still have to figure that carb out

Bear....sorry to hear that he isn't responding quickly. I hope that all turns out well.
You know that little pickup in the Hot Wheels package. My buddy who has about 20 dentsides, saw that and wanted to know where to get one. He fell in love with it. LOL. He didn't get it. I put it back on the shelf. LOL

2100.....my buddy;s popcorn popper was the same way. I found him a new carb on eBay and ordered it. He stuck it on and it's still working great. I had to order a started Bendix for it last week, but it's already up and going again.

Whitey....thanks for the info. I checked it out and I don't know why I didn't think of that route. Oh well, again, Thanks.
