Well, checking the ground is just a start. Probably a shot in the dark. But we'll see. They are both plugged into the same (old as hell) powerstrip/surge protector.

It's easy enough to check lol. However, I don't think it would run any different either way.

I have some old powerstrips that are built better than some of the new ones. Belkins are pretty good. Old or new, they can be cheap with hittiouse surge protection.

I haven't worked on it yet, maybe later. I'll let you know, still might turn out to be the Russians. Wish I could test that card somehow. I don't have another PCI Express machine to throw it in.

1 min · So when i run 87 octane, my fan clutch is really loud and noticable, when i run premium, i cant hear it at all?

OK, I have to sub to this thread. It's too hard to keep up with what I have and haven't seen just by scrolling around.
So much lunacy on the board lately! I've seen some of it, and just shake my head, but this Skylar guy takes the cake.

AK: I assume that's a 99+ with a 97/98 bumper?
