Have you seen the latest thread? Brand new user posting the same problem just rephrased... coincidence? Idk but I let the mods know to see if they can tell if it's the same guy posting under multiple usernames. Remember when mudder tried that? Lol

You guys have some awareness...you were right! He's still trying not to let on I see lol...jeeezzz

Well, there's obviously something wrong in the noggin..if you follow the track record anyway. I simplified one thread for him..that should of worked IMO. Report him, I wouldn't beat him up too bad...sensed there was a problem early on. Might not be his fault entirely, - just sayin.

I'm getting mixed signals here... both the Motorcraft HC15 and HC78 say they will fit a 97 F150. I really want to do the core if I am tearing this thing apart this far. Do any of you know which is which?

Also.... I think these are the correct fittings, right?

That fitting looks correct. When I did mine I had to cut the old fittings off. Pretty sure I used a dremel.

I went to Culvers last night for a bite to eat and this bad boy pulled in and an old couple got out.

HC 78 replaces the HC 15 according to the Motorcraft catalog. 1L7Z-18476-AA is the correct Ford part number so cross that backwards and it should come back to the 78#.

Thanks AK... I wonder if it is improved or something?

Found my box of parts. I have one of each style of blend door - meaning the traditional replacement, and the one you install by cutting the box behind the glove box. Part of me wants to just do the cut in because I don't want to go through the whole dash removal process. So, I dunno....
