Truck handled amazing. Didn't feel like I was lacking power at all and the brakes did better than expected... I must've been due for a brake job when I hauled my model b home cz it was sketchy on that ride lol. Truck impressed me once again... love this 10th gen.
Your friends toy is a beast! I want a high boy now. Lol

Ford does some very weird crap when it comes to brakes. If you look at the Master Cylinders, there are 2 for each application, at least. Cruise and not cruise. Ours is right on the front of the mc. The Expy isn't there at all. It has a tank that has a plug on the left side, and of course the one without cc. The Super Duty one goes off to the side on the right lower for the switch. The non CC is just solid at the port points. It makes just no sense that there are 3 different looking mc's for 3 different applications and there is not a simple combo used. Oh, and of course there are the bore sizes. 1.06, 1.25, 1 5/16 and 1 3/8 are available. The 1 3/8 is for the F450 to F550,.

It's nice to have e/brakes again. lol

Oh, and finally.
I hear yuh about the master cylinders, there's many lol. Well, at least my original never leaked. I seen pics of a friends 99 150 that burnt to the ground. I was working at Ford Dearborn in 2005 were they reenacted a gen 10 Expy cruise deactivation switch fire. They did so at the highest elevation between the plant and Green field village. The smoke was black and heavy, caught a downdraft which pushed the smoke right towards the e-way. They put the fire outy finally, but not before it caused visibility problems for drivers commuting that day. It was entertaining to watch lol.

Took some picks of the broken pieces on the axle, -

This is where the pilot bearing dug into the axle upon impact, it bent the end. I took a pick of bend but it didn't turn out, anyway -

The diff is back in place now, had to use one of those fancy high lift diff jacks to do so. Mannn, that took some ingenuity, -

Brew, with the one picture on the stands, does that make your front differential a basket case? LOL

You bet lol. I just hope it doesn't end up in the crate again lol.

Well, decided to unpack the dipstick tube and stick to see if they got it right this time, -I have bad luck acquiring the correct parts here. The last one I used was way off as you'll notice. Nope! But close! Close enough, I got the correct tube this time, but the stick ? The Ford sticker had the right part number, but the number on the stick itself was different. Regardless and thankfully Ford sticks are easily adjustable. Good thing, this stick was 6.5" too long lol, -

Anyway, taking a break from chopping up that tree that fell, thought I'd install it real quick. What do I do, break the bolt off lol, -

Ahh crap! Well, couldn't really use heat to assist, the welder was out of the question, it's too close to the cam cover gasket. I used lefties, hoping it would back out while drilling. Denied! I got lucky and hit dead center with the punch. It took a sharp punch, socketed w 3/8 extension, but yea, nailed center. Drilled through (pilot hole) with the first lefty, hit it with the next size up and it didn't budge. From there, I pre-drilled for tap, -

Shortened the stick 6.5", center punched a 6 quart level 1/4" down from the Max fill hash. Lucky there as well, accurate! I didn't take a pick of the bad spot on the old dipstick tube, that's on the other side. You can push an awl right through it. This is where they rust, you can't see it when installed. It rusts between the head and the tube mount. My first tube broke apart while checking the oil at a filler up lol.

That badass, reminds of my old farm truck in high school. Didn't have the meats that one does, or the bed. Made a wood bed for it lol. Put a 390 in that farm truck, was a riot. Also my old 78.5 ford. I had some meats on that one, well 36's anyway. From ther, built sort of a show truck with 44's, that was a bug-eye 90 model lol. Yea, that truck sucked some cash from the wallet, was fun though. Traveled a bit with that one, took it to a show in Indiana as a matter a fact, Daytona on the ticket as well. The rear end blew in Georgia, was able to make Daytona removing rear shaft and running the rest of the way on the front. Blown rear end, but the rear wheels still rolled. Put another 9" in the rear while in the sunshine state. Had to travel to Ovido Florida to get it done... A headache, but all Good ole days for sure.

Got a few more parts to finish up the maintenance. After I bend up the exhaust Y, I won't have to crawl under the damn thing anymore. Moving on to the rockers, doors and lower bed panels next.

Bent axle, - yea, I had to edit the "fill light" for it turn out. Pretty cool, the pic was dark when uploaded. You should be able to see the bend alright.

BTW, hows the eye white?
