Thinking

I can't here, my tank would fill, but you gave me a great idea...just now lol!
What if I connected back up to a city water supply and let just the supply drip right before the connection ? The connection is insulated and heated, that won't freeze. Doing so would eliminate the need for my fresh water tank all together...which is freezing up all the time. I know my daughter is charged for water out there, but there's a cap. Guess I have to see what the cap is. Might be worth it.
I entertained other ideas, so your aware. As in a heat tape or heated hose, out of the question. So is installing a permanent water line below the frost line...out of the question.
Huh, think I'm going to try this.

Ok guys, we are 3 days in 2018. Who's already had a bad start to the New Year?

It's been strange. But I am going to make the best of it. Only 2 days until I officially change jobs, despite already fixing a few things. Hoping for the best!
I hope yours isn't rough, AK!

No longer stuck in 2003
Would you call a dead refrigerator, an escape that randomly drains the battery, planning on a divorce, being over drafted due to wife's medical bills, and apparently a case a shingles a bad start?
Here's a weird one for ya'll. So we've had almost record cold in KC (a couple lows below 0F and highs in the low teens if we are lucky) and the codes on the truck have gone away. I expected the hard start due to the cold but the entire time it's been below freezing I haven't had the DPFE codes (need to find the 70$ to buy a good sensor rather than the cheap ones from autozone.)
As for the water dripping I forgot to do so this year but usually we'll leave it dripping if it's below freezing.

Welp hoping in the next few months I too have a new job. I am over the traveling and my wife and I are hoping to start a family sooner rather than later too. Working with my boss to get a new position opened up that allows me to stay home but still contribute to our team but HR looooves to drag their feet. At least I know my boss and coworkers want to keep me cz they are trying hard to get this position open for me. Also going to start looking outside the company because they are known to make empty promises so I am not going to wait around forever for something that may not come. If it happens awesome i will take the job and be happy... if I get an outside offer first well then i am gunna have a long conversation with the wife.

I need electronics. Give me more electronics. LOL
2100.....damn dude, you are off the a rough start. I hope it gets better.
Myself.....I was redoing the bathroom in the front, and ran into a big problem. The upper pipe 90 is so tight, it broke the shower arm inside it. I tried last night to remove the 90, but is sort of welded on. I'm going to get my cutter wheel out today and slit the side and hope it breaks like a nut with a nut buster on it. I've got a big enough hammer if it doesn't cooperate. LOL
Whitey.....I was thinking the same thing on Wednesday when it was 48. I almost took the battery out to lil Red and start him, but I thought better. It snowed the next morning and we got a couple inches. It will be around 30 again today, so the snow is staying for at least a few days. LOL

Duh, brain fart or lack of memory???? Sorry 2100. Hope I didn't jinx you.
Aragon, I really meant to say your name, but I had a senior moment. I hope yours gets better.
I guess I better start drinking. If I'm going to be this stupid, I might as well have a reason for it. LOL
