New stripes are on the way. I'm going to keep the Grabber Blue color, but change them up. The rear will now have a Mach 1 style rear deck stripe, and the hood is going to a wide fader style stripe.

It's about time I did some more work on her. Those stripes have 7 years on them, and this year they really show signs of fatigue. The rear deck stripes are cracked and shrinking. The Mustang only has 44k on the clock. I call her my work in progress. lol
Sounds pretty awesome my friend.

She's a sexy beast, AK. Mine wants to meet her some day.... LOL.

I took my Buddy for a ride in mine on Saturday. He's got a 95 Corvette with an LT1, and some goodies. Lets just say that he knows my car will clean its clock, all day every day. When it broke the tires loose going into 3rd, he was pretty impressed. He was the one that built that trans for me, and I think he was glad it worked so well.... but sad it will blow the wood screws off his Corvette doors.

With a 4.0 v6 and 331 gears with automatic, you would think not. It actually is fairly quick. It loves to run the highways. I had it well over 110 a couple times coming back from NP yesterday. I had to pass a couple lines of traffic, when the front motorhomes wouldn't pull over. I was left out once, and the Chev pickup closed up the gap, so it was pedal to the floor. I went from 85 to 120 so damn quick, I blew by the MH and Chev, and never saw either of them again. I hate an SOB that will close up so you can't take a safe exit from a pass. He could of easily jumped out, but didn't like it when I did. So I toasted his ***. lol

Actually Brew, I've put a CAI, Bama tune on it, and it is much quicker than when I first bought it. I have a 8.8 LS 3:73 ready to go under her, since last fall, I just haven't had the time or the want to do it yet. It does get about 25-27 on the highway, when I keep it under 75. Over that, less. I got 23.7 on this tank. Not as good as normal, but I was having fun in the mountains. LOL The Bullitt suspension I put on her in 2011, makes her love the mountain curves. I put 373's in my old SN95, and it changed the RPM's so much, that I've held off putting this one in because of that.

How are you doing Bear....JBER (Elmendorf) is only 3 miles away from me. Fort Rich (other half of JBER) is 4 miles the other way. Eagle River is 9 miles from my house by road, but only about 4 miles as the crow flies. Call it Anchorage's bedroom community. It's all part of Anchorage Borough (county to you guys lol).

My buddy said his son traded in his new hot wheels camaro in for a brand new tahoe - so him and his wife could take the huskies around with them!- ( if you see a young master sgt. in a new tahoe with 2 huskies, ask hjm if he from Ohio!
