I'm not sure how they work but I've heard good things on here about them

I personally would not recommend HIDs for the Lightning style, since it's a single bulb (high and low), and unless you have the one that also has a dedicated and separate high beam, it will not warm up fast enough for when you need to flash that Bowtie driver in front of you to get out of the way!
Oh I thought the lightnings were black? That makes me feel cooler just to have lightning headlights now lol

Black, I think, is an option, at least what I see on Ebay. There are so many variants and choices - depends on what works for you. Since I put in LED fogs into an Expedition bumper, I think I have a unique look enough.

These are the 1st Gen one-piece jobs that protrude at the sides and bottom.

Since the photo was taken, I did just that. They DO sit better, but not factory flush, and there is a slight gap at the fender end of the signal portion of the assembly. So far, I've gotten my $160 worth out of the deal.

No one's going to notice those stock headlights when you kick on those floods in your grille! At least they're clear (but black would have looked so mean with that black grille!)
