Is there any better coil packs then the stock ones?

This isn't a 1960's points/condenser system with spark plug wires. There is very little (negligible) voltage loss with COP ignitions. You likely wouldn't gain anything at all from "performance" COPs like MSD claims to be.
Stock ones are reliable but expensive. Lower cost, yet reliable ones are Gama coils from Global automotive on ebay.

Accell makes some, both coil on plug, and 4 plug pack.

Default Accel coil packs

I replaced the coil packs on my '03 5.4 about six months ago with the Accel packs. Actually made quite a difference. You can get them new on ebay for half what ford wants for new ones. Unfortunately they are not made in usa. But the ones from ford are probably made in mexico or some other foreign county too! Accel is a good brand with quality products though, so you can buy with confidence. Just make sure to call or talk to the seller and give them the right specs on make and model. Sometimes with a higher performance coil or hotter coil they will make a recommendation on changing spark plug gap. Hope this helps!

Glad you're having luck with them, but Accel and quality don't really go together in my book.

Make sure you plugs are good, if they are worn it strains the coil packs.
