Default Wheel adaptors

So I'm going to buy adaptors for my truck so I can use the chrome rims I already have. The pattern I have now is 5x135 the new pattern I need is 5x4.5. Where is a good place to get adaptors? I don't want to bet cheap ones off eBay. And about how thick should they be?

I do not know the answer to any of the questions you asked. Maybe you should do a google search about the dangers of using wheel adapters and if you still are willing to use them instead of buying new wheels that are right for the truck you will find a brand of adapter to buy.

Dude. PM me. I have those adapters sitting in my garage, they're 1.5" thick USA made. I paid 250$ for them and now have no use. 30$ + shipping they're yours. I ran them for a year and had no issues, was involved in a front end fender bender that bent an upper control arm from a direct wheel impact with no damage to the adapters at all they're no eBay either.

I went 2.5" thick and a tire came off. Lot's of people have ran spacer with no problem, and others of us don't get a week of use.

How many times do we have to here your sob story? you've probably posted it 100 times.

I had some on for over a year with no issues, then suddenly my right front had one lug nut left securing my wheel and I broke a spacer stud off. Anywho, shouldn't have any trouble as long as you check the torque on the spacer and wheel lugs frequently.

Really man? Of course he does. It's because people need to know that they can fail. Not everyone runs them no problem. How many times are you gonna post you like them?

Until people understand that with proper use of quality products and proper installation there are no issues. His issue was from cheap flebay crap and shotty install. Can't go around crying wolf when it was due to other reasons.

Shotty install lol. I don't remember posting a video of how I installed them. The simple fact is, spacers put more pressure on the hub, increasing your chance of a tire falling off. Tell me how it's a shotty install, I'm curious.

I tell it when people ask about spacers. If I had looked up the problems, I would have bought the right wheels to begin with. I like to avoid problems, not watch people fall into them. I like to put as much info out there as I can.

Reading rainbow says it the best:

I run 6" wheel adapters just fine. She looks good but I have trouble fitting into parking spaces.
