Default Super 44 - FlowmasterMuffler

Hello F150 owners. I myself am not only new to this site, but I am also a new, proud owner to a 2000 Ford F150 supercab 5.4L Triton. Dark Green with Silver Trim. perhaps if I have the time, pictures to come. The Truck as it is (stock) sounds decent how it is, but I would like it to have more of a throaty sound for not too much money. I was searching around and was curious to if the Flowmaster Super 44 Muffler alone would give it more of a rumble.
Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

With 4 cats, I don't think it would be all that loud. But definitely better than stock and probably a nice growl.

I have a super 44 on my truck (01' w/ 5.4L). I got pics of the install in my album. Its not that loud. I used the stock tail pipe which is part of the reason its quieter. I think an intake will make it louder. If it doesn't then I am going to straight pipe it. Its not loud enough for me right now. It sounds good but I have to get on it to hear it.

I have a walker FX muffler which is the brother to the flowmaster 44, followed by Roush Cold air intake. Sounds Great!! i drove for about 6 months with only the exhaust and it was a great sound, nice rumble and you will tell a difference over you stock sound.

I didnt noticed a gain in power or gas mileage but I got mine for $10 shipped on ebay so I'm not complaining.. But the whislting is pretty cool it almost sounds like a turbo and you can control the pitch of the whistle with the gas pedal and that is cool cause you can whistle at girls with your truck

I am also interested in the Super 44's. I want to run a true dual setup with high flow cats on my '99 5.4
