Default Super 10 inlet size?

I’m going to be installing a super 10 muffler on my 03 F150 pretty soon and I was unsure whether to go for 3/2.5 IN/OUT or 2.5/2.5 IN/OUT. It’s gonna be a singe in to dual out set up. Does anyone have some insight on this as far as sound & performance?

Stock pipe is 2.5" so if you go to 3" inlet don't go back to 2.5" outlet, keep it 3" all the way.

I did 2.5 in/out with the super 10 and it sounded pretty good. I personally didn't have a desire to run a 3".

I tried 2.5/2.5 and 2.5/3.0 and it's a teeny tiny bit of performance and a little bit louder

truck is slow and quiet so I'd go 3" in and 2.5 dual out to get every little bit of performance and noise that you can haha
