I replaced the cable on my 2007 F-150 XLT Supercab and now I can't get the latch (or inside handle) reinstalled! I've looked at Youtube and no one addresses this issue. Here's what my door looks like
I have read so many threads talking about the suicide door handle release cable needs to be replaced and that the little plastic clip that connects the cable to the handle lever. I have gone to the Ford Dealership that wants to charge $180 for the part and $150 labor, even though I took off the door panel, speaker and even took off the cable! I am not going to a junk yard because it would used.
I want to new replacement cable, so can anyone tell me where on the Internet, I can purchase it?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Looks like you can get just the cable-ends (cams?)

Very easy to repair I just posted a picture Anna link where they're on eBay once you do the aluminum caps that go where the rubber caps go on the cables when you open up your door and take the panel off you'll see the little rubber ends that go into the lock assemblies those break you replace them with aluminum ones and they never break again hope this helps this may be an old post or something maybe someone else can see it and use it by the way if anybody has trailer hitch bumper tailgate and bed assembly they want to sell let me know I'm in Central Florida willing to travel to pick it up. 2004 to 2008 styleside F150 XLT 8 foot bed
