In my time having my 02 f150, the truck was mint, everything o the check list kept up. Now my mom and her boyfriend drive it and i got my ram but the f150's cares gone to crap unless i intervene to clean the filter or oil change. The most recent event is mom says the truck drive alright until it hits about 40mph, and she says she feels like she has to floor to get it over 40 and the motor doesnt seem to run as smooth, chugs along as she says, truck drives fine to me when i had it last week and its got a low tire. If there is anything i suspect a maf sensor from if i over oiled my filter or needing new tranny fluid but it should not be due for another few thousand, fuel pumps always been an issue, wont keep pressure unless trucks running so maybe thats starting to fail for sure? Im thinking if there is a problem its air or fuel starved, Whats yalls take?

*no cel yet but i am expecting

I would service the injectors if the manifold won't maintain pressure. Possibly one is leaky

Time to switch back, - demote them down to the Ram if they can't treat the Ford right.

Well, fuel first, then head for the converters, if it doesn't move after 40. If you run good stuff in the trans, you can cut down on servicing x quite a bit.

i was just recollecting, i mightve not replaced cylinder 8 sparkplug 10k ago because it was to much a hassle to get to, the sixteen plugs of hemi is easier than that one alone lol

You don't deserve a Ford if #8 can kick your ****. I'm thinkin you gave your mother a can of worms. It's no wonder why you have 16 plugs now, - I bet karma had something to do with that.

its like i said the 16 plugs of hemi are easier than cyl 8 alone lol, the only reason it never got done is because it started raining and i hadnt pulled it yet. still, theres no cel so as much as it is a possibility, is there another part that could be causing the situation, or does this fit the boot. (meanwhile im replacing the sway bar linkage lol)
